Mini Pupillage..
07 July 2008
Mini-pupillage is one of the first practical steps on your journey to becoming a practising barrister. It was a great experience and beneficial at the same time. Meeting real life client, acting in the best interest of your client, what you should do when you have a tough opponent and how to handle each individual case (ex: advocates meeting, get instructions from your solicitors, police involvement and etc). A week of it was good enough and an eye-opener to me. If compared to academic wise it ain't that scary afterall. Preparation, time management and confidence are the keys to success. I have a journal of my experienced of my very first week of mini pupillage on 30th June till 4th July 2008. Very delighted and hoping for more. These experienced are unforgettable and I am one step closer to my future. Determination and dedication plays an important role in my daily routine. So hang on there, dude...
